This position entails working with students with disabilities ages 16-21 (student workers) at various locations across campus. Responsibilities include: meeting the student workers at their drop-off locations and accompanying them to the different job sites across campus (examples: Starbucks, Reisner Dining Hall, campus bookstore). Providing on-the-job support to the student workers during working hours (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:50-9:45 AM and Mondays through Thursdays from 11:50 AM-1:45 PM. Note: job coaches do not need to work every shift; scheduling is done through the Graduate Assistant Supervisor of the HIRE ME and Ship SAILS programs). Other duties include supervising the students’ work and recording data about their performance and progress; assisting the student workers with tasks under the direction of the work site supervisor; escorting the student workers to their pick-up locations at the end of the shift; and communicating with the Graduate Assistant Supervisor. Training will be provided prior to interacting with student workers. Clearances are required for this position. The pay rate for this position is $9/hour.
