Lorelee and her amazing teams are committed to providing an inclusive student experience that provides access to learners at all different stages of career readiness and workforce development. Prior to coming to Ship, Lorelee worked for Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education Office of the Chancellor for 23 years. She has a well-rounded understanding of and appreciation for regional public institutions. Lorelee holds a Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership from Shippensburg University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Messiah University. She and her husband have five children – two are currently attending West Chester University and one is attending Indiana University of PA.
Victoria Kerr
Senior Director

Since Starting at Shippensburg University in 2013, Victoria loves developing new and innovative programs designed to assist students in reaching their academic and career goals. She is passionate about connecting students to their purpose and developing those interests, skills, and abilities into a successful career path. Previous to Shippensburg University, she served as the Director of the Career Development Center/Undeclared Students at Shepherd University and held roles within Human Resources for over 8 years at the American Bar Association, American Woodmark, and ATPCO. Victoria holds a Master of Arts in College Student Development from Shepherd University and a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from American University.

Director of Internships and Experiential Learning

Upon receiving her Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she held multiple positions in the private sector before joining Shippensburg University in 2016. After spending three years in the John L. Grove College of Business, Alix joined the Career Center team in June 2019 to assist all Ship students with their internship-related questions and needs, from resume reviews, internship search, interview preparation, to internship registration. Alix also oversees the Raider Ready Professional Clothes Closet which provides interview outfits to all Ship students at no cost. She is currently enrolled in the Masters of Science in Counseling, College Student Personnel, and is looking forward to officially becoming a Raider when she completes the program.

Isabel is a graduate student at Shippensburg University pursuing her Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from York College of Pennsylvania.
In addition to pursuing a Master’s Degree, she serves as a Graduate Assistant in the Career Center, Graduate Housing Worker in Undergraduate Admissions, and a Student Lead Barista at Starbucks on campus. While Isabel keeps her schedule full, she absolutely loves assisting others become successful! If you see her anywhere on campus, don’t be afraid to say hello!
In her free time, Isabel enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and cat, Bethany, as well as cooking innovative dishes and enjoying the outdoors (especially sunsets).

Graduate Housing Intern

Essence Henderson is a graduate student at Shippensburg University pursuing her Masters of Science in Clinical, Mental Health Counseling. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business from the same institution. On top of her educational endeavors, Essence serves as a Graduate Housing Intern in the Career Center at Shippensburg University. Essence has always felt strongly about helping others because she believes that everyone deserves someone in their corner. When Essence is not in class, at work, or trying to find new places to try food, she is spending time with friends/family, catching up on Marvel, and taking care of her cat Ava.
Yoshie Hirano
Graduate Assistant

Yoshie is an international graduate student at Shippensburg University. She has ten years of experience teaching physical and health education in multiple international schools. She has a bachelor’s degree in German Literature, and a master’s degree, majoring in Education from Nihon University in Japan.
In her past teaching experience, she worked for the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) as a physical education teacher in Bhutan, serving as a representative of Japan. She also worked in International Schools as a physical education and homeroom teacher in Japan (International Baccalaureate), California (Immersion School), New Jersey (Japanese school), and China. Her teaching experience brought her another opportunity to pursue counseling at Shippensburg University. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in K-12 Counseling and working as a graduate assistant at the Career Center. She is also a member of the Alcohol and Other Drugs Peer Educator.
When Yoshie not working or studying, you can find her traveling the world, running on trails, and relaxing on a beach.

Grace Keller
Graduate Assistant
Grace Keller is a graduate student at Shippensburg University pursuing her Master of Science degree in Applied Psychology. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from the same institution. During her time as an undergraduate student, Grace took part in various roles on campus, including being a teaching assistant, a founding member of the Commuter Student Association, and working as a student Roadie for the Shippensburg University Marching Band. Additionally, she has worked as a student team member at the university’s bookstore for over three years.
Grace adores helping students establish connections and providing resources to her fellow undergraduates throughout her time at Ship. Because she believes everyone deserves the chance to be the best they can be, she looks forward to continuing to help others as she navigates this new chapter at the Career Center. When Grace is not working or studying, you can usually find her spending time with her loved ones, watching her favorite shows (especially Bridgerton) or movies, or enjoying nap times with her cat Nyx.
