Lorelee Isbell
Executive Director

Lorelee is the Executive Director of the Career, Mentoring, and Professional Development Center and the Office of Professional, Continuing, and Distance Education. Lorelee and her amazing teams in the career center and continuing education are committed to providing an inclusive student experience that provides access to learners at all different stages of career readiness and workforce development. Prior to coming to Ship, Lorelee worked for Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education Office of the Chancellor for 23 years. She has a well-rounded understanding of and appreciation for regional public institutions. Lorelee holds a Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership from Shippensburg University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Messiah University. She and her husband have five children – two are currently attending West Chester University and one is attending Indiana University of PA.
Victoria Kerr
Senior Director

Victoria is the Director of the Career, Mentoring, and Professional Development Center at Shippensburg University. Since Starting at Shippensburg University in 2013, Victoria loves developing new and innovative programs designed to assist students in reaching their academic and career goals. She is passionate about connecting students to their purpose and developing those interests, skills, and abilities into a successful career path. Previous to Shippensburg University, she served as the Director of the Career Development Center/Undeclared Students at Shepherd University and held roles within Human Resources for over 8 years at the American Bar Association, American Woodmark, and ATPCO. Victoria holds a Master of Arts in College Student Development from Shepherd University and a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from American University.

Alix Rouby
Director of Internships and Experiential Learning

Alix is the Director of Internships for Shippensburg University. Upon receiving her Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she held multiple positions in the private sector before joining Shippensburg University in 2016. After spending three years in the John L. Grove College of Business, Alix joined the CMPD team in June 2019 to assist all Ship students with their internship-related questions and needs, from resume reviews, internship search, interview preparation, to internship registration. Alix also oversees the Raider Ready Professional Clothes Closet which provides interview outfits to all Ship students at no cost. She is currently enrolled in the Masters of Science in Counseling, College Student Personnel, and is looking forward to officially becoming a Raider when she completes the program.

Hayley Anderson
Interim Associate Director of Career Development

Hayley Anderson is a graduate student at Shippensburg University pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Anthropology from the same institution and an Associate of Applied Science in Music Business from Harrisburg Area Community College. In addition to pursuing an education in counseling, she is enrolled in the Blue Lotus School of Mindfulness Seminary program to further her knowledge of coaching and counseling methods that revolve around mindfulness skills and practices.
On top of her educational endeavors, Hayley serves as the Interim Associate Director of Career Development in the Career Center at Shippensburg University. Hayley has always had a passion for helping others and has found that she wanted to dedicate her life to this passion.
When Hayley is not studying, in class, working, or at a concert, she can be found spending time with her family, friends, and her Goldendoodle named Oliver.

Essence Henderson
Graduate Housing Intern

Essence Henderson is a graduate student at Shippensburg University pursuing her Masters of Science in Clinical, Mental Health Counseling. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business from the same institution. On top of her educational endeavors, Essence serves as a Graduate Housing Intern in the Career, Mentoring, and Professional Development Center at Shippensburg University. Essence has always felt strongly about helping others because she believes that everyone deserves someone in their corner. When Essence is not in class, at work, or trying to find new places to try food, she is spending time with friends/family, catching up on Marvel, and taking care of her cat Ava.

Jesie Henry
Graduate Assistant

Jesie Henry is a graduate student at Shippensburg University pursing her Master of Social Work. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the same institution in which she graduated in May of 2020. Jesie will be interning at Frederick County Public Schools as a school social worker in the Fall and Spring semesters of the 2022-2023 academic year. On top of her educational endeavors, Jesie serves as a graduate assistant in the Office of Human Resources at Shippensburg University, working alongside a great team of people. Jesie has always had a “spread kindness” and without hesitation to help others mindset, which is what lead her to social work. When Jesie has time outside of class and work, she can be found wedding planning for her September 2022 wedding, gardening, landscaping, or spending time with her friends and family.
Yoshie Hirano
Graduate Assistant

Yoshie is an international graduate student at Shippensburg University. She has ten years of experience teaching physical and health education in multiple international schools. She has a bachelor’s degree in German Literature, and a master’s degree, majoring in Education from Nihon University in Japan.
In her past teaching experience, she worked for the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) as a physical education teacher in Bhutan, serving as a representative of Japan. She also worked in International Schools as a physical education and homeroom teacher in Japan (International Baccalaureate), California (Immersion School), New Jersey (Japanese school), and China. Her teaching experience brought her another opportunity to pursue counseling at Shippensburg University. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in K-12 Counseling and working as a graduate assistant at the Career Center. She is also a member of the Alcohol and Other Drugs Peer Educator.
When Yoshie not working or studying, you can find her traveling the world, running on trails, and relaxing on a beach.

Daniel Perry
Graduate Assistant

Daniel is an international graduate student at Shippensburg University working towards an MBA concentrating in Business Analytics. He completed his undergraduate at Wilson College with a double major in Financial Mathematics and Business Management.
Daniel is very involved with club sports at Ship. He is a member of the soccer, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee teams. Daniel has supported Liverpool football club ever since he could fit into a jersey. His hobbies include snowboarding, Warhammer 40k, gaming, anything Marvel or Star Wars, and watching anime.
Daniel is a very outgoing person and is happy to listen to people’s passions. Daniel’s goal in the career center is to bring energy to the office and make sure that people leave the career center satisfied with their experience.

Allison Rippeon
Graduate Assistant

Allison Rippeon is a graduate assistant in the Office of Human Resources at Shippensburg University. She is currently working on her Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership. Allison completed her BSBA with an Accounting major and History minor at Ship in December 2021. In her free time, Allison likes to watch The Office and spend time with her family and friends.
