Intern with non-governmental organizations in Prishtina!
Located in Prishtina, interns participate in impactful projects alongside local healthcare institutions and NGOs dedicated to community well-being. As a young nation, Kosovo’s commitment to healthcare is of vital importance. Grassroots efforts emphasize the need for equal access to quality care for all of its citizens, with particular attention to marginalized groups such as minorities, and low-income communities. Interns have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of projects, including conducting research on health issues, assisting in educational programs to raise awareness about healthcare practices, advocating for policy changes to improve healthcare access, and providing medical support to groups that are underserved and underrepresented.
Depending on the Intern’s skill set and interest, the Intern will be assigned to one or more of the following projects associated with global health in Kosovo:
- Research
- PR, Digital Marketing & Communications
- Medical Assistance
- Public Education Campaigns
- Youth Development
- Gender Equity & Advocacy

Skills & Abilities
- University undergraduate and graduate students, and young professionals working on a degree (or who have graduated in fields) in global health, public health, medical studies, or other-related fields.
- Willingness to take initiative and work under minimal guidance in both office and field settings.
- Motivated and committed to work effectively as part of an inter-cultural team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and willingness to learn.
- Be flexible and work to understand India’s culture, history, and current events.
