Job Shadow Program – Student Information

A job shadow consists of you “shadowing” an alumnus/employer during a typical workday to develop career-related knowledge and skills. You will have the opportunity to engage in career exploration as you consider potential career paths. Job Shadow experiences typically occur during one to two days, with all participants needing to be over 18 years of age as well as be able to provide their own transportation to the site. The length of time for the job shadow is determined by the job shadow host. The purpose of shadowing is to allow you, the student, to gather career related information and expand your networking connections, it also allows you to build interviewing skills and become aware of trends in the field.

Choose one day during Fall or Spring breaks to explore your potential career.
