Experiential Learning

The Career Center is the central office on campus for all things volunteer and service learning. Our staff can help students connect with community leaders, resources, and non-profit coordinators, to volunteer their time or apply for service positions. Students may have requirements for service hours from academics or organizations, and the Career Center can help guide you to and appropriate volunteer opportunity for you and encourage you to continue serving the community. Students can browse volunteer and service opportunities on SHIP Handshake and can sign up for our volunteer email blast by contacting career@ship.edu.
