Individuals with disabilities want the opportunity to pursue a career of their choosing but have an unemployment rate that is two times higher than average. At the same time, businesses that value a diverse workforce fall behind when it comes to disability inclusion. Employers want better access to candidates with disabilities. That’s why AbilityLinks, a first-of-its-kind website for persons with disabilities and inclusive employers, was launched in 2001.
