Applied Physics Club

Student Organizations

The Applied Physics Club’s mission is to reignite curiosity by setting physics with real-world problems. It is to create an engaging environment where students can explore, experiment, and apply the principles of physics through hands-on projects, research and outreach to the community. We want to inspire a deeper appreciation for the role physics plays in tech and everyday life while using teamwork and having professional growth.

Our goals would be as follows:

1. Promote Applied Learning:
Encourage members to design and help with projects in the club that demonstrate physical concepts in practical/innovative ways.

2. Support Research and Collaboration:
Provide opportunities for students to collaborate on experiments, research papers, and presentations for conferences such as the American Physical Society (APS) meetings.

3. Engage the Community:
Host interactive demonstrations, guest/alumni lectures, and outreach events to inspire younger students and the public about the importance of physics.
