Trainer Specific Responsibilities:
- Trainer will design individualized exercise programs according to client’s fitness level and needs
- Trainer will execute designed exercise programs
- Trainer will learn SEfit’s Functional Training Program Style and Execution of training
- Trainer will be responsible to learn human anatomy and how it functions together for exercise execution and designing of programs
- Trainer will communicate clearly exercise technique and interact appropriately hands-on when needed to correct and/or demonstrate proper form
- Trainer will have an opportunity to train individuals from ages 8 up to 90’s, general population, all fitness levels and abilities, and periodically train athletes individually or as a team
- Trainer will learn and execute with clients myofascial techniques with use of tools such as percussive therapy, foam rollers, trigger point rollers and balls, neuroballs, and facilitated stretching
- Trainer will learn and execute with clients corrective exercises with and/or without tools such as foot blocks, therabands, etc
- Trainer will learn and execute with clients Dynamic Stretching and Mobility
- Trainer will learn and demonstrate knowledge in the areas of Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Testing & Prescription, Human Anatomy, Functional Movement Patterns, Corrective Exercise, Rotational Movement, and Sport’s Nutrition
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
- Trainer will work as a team member with owner and other trainers to benefit all clients and members of SEfit
- Trainer will help to maintain the cleanliness of the gym along with regular maintenance of equipment.
- Trainer will assist with special event programs which may include classes, challenges, races, and/or other fitness related programs or events
- Trainer will assist with attending health and wellness fairs, races, and/or other related community events and activities
- Trainer will be encouraged to attend conferences such as ACSM Summit, Idea Health & Fitness Summit, Perform Better Seminars
