Small Business Internship Initiative

Shippensburg University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Career Center are proud to collaborate on a regional internship program that connects your business with high-potential university students.

We know small businesses are busy—and that’s why this program is built to make internships doable and valuable, whether you’ve hosted interns before or this is your first time.

Interested in Offering Micro-Internships?

Micro-Internships allow your company or organization to get on-demand, professional project support from talented students and recent graduates without having to take on administrative burdens like processing payroll or managing tax forms.

Micro-Internships are also an easy, cost-effective, and proven method for accomplishing recruiting goals, as they allow organizations to engage early career talent in a way that is accessible and appealing to students.
